This interactive two-hour training is designed to introduce Cal State LA students to intergroup dialogue concepts such as:

  • Empathy building;
  • Active listening;
  • Conflict resolution; and
  • Personal and social media based communication

Facilitated by Dr. Anna M. Yeakley, Coordinator of the Intergroup Relations Program at UCLA, participants will learn how to utilize skills and approaches essential to inter-personal communication, dialogue, and group dynamics while cultivating a culture of respect and inclusivity on campus.
