Leadership, Civic Engagement, and Social Issues: An Evening with Kevin Powell

Join A.S.I. as we welcome back to Cal State L.A. author, activist, and philanthropist, Kevin Powell. Kevin is one of the most acclaimed political, cultural, literary, and hip-hop voices in America today. He is the author of 11 books, including "Barack Obama, Ronald Reagan, and the Ghost of Dr. King: Blogs and Essays." Kevin will be engaging our campus community in dialogue regarding social good, leadership within a new generation, and levels of advocacy.
