Spirit Week 2024

ASI has hidden five golden tickets around campus and will post clues about their location on the ASI Instagram account throughout the day. The golden tickets can be redeemed for a free shirt or water bottle in the ASI office. Stay Golden!

Join Housing and Residence Life, ASI, and CSI for a free screening of Bring It On—the iconic cheerleading movie that will have you hyped for Golden Eagle Athletics. Grab a friend and some popcorn, and get into the school spirit as we cheer on our teams! Don’t miss this ultimate spirit-building event. 

Come celebrate with the National Champions as we unveil the championship banner and present rings to the team, along with performances from the Cal State LA Pep Band and Cheer Squad! 

Have you heard of a "Sneaker Ball"? It’s the ultimate blend of style and comfort! Time to show off your freshest kicks at the Spirit Week Sneaker Ball! DJ Cilla will be spinning the hottest tracks. Hosted by Athletics, ASI, and CSI, this night promises fun, style, and a special drawing for two pairs of customized Vans. Dress to impress in your semi-formal best with, of course, your favorite sneakers! Everyone’s welcome—just be sure to bring your style and spirit. 

It’s more than a party—it’s a tailgate, carnival, festival, and concert all rolled into one! The Cal State LA Block Party is the ultimate celebration of school spirit. Join us for an afternoon of activities, food trucks, games, and cheering on our National Champion volleyball team, along with our nationally ranked men’s and women’s soccer teams. Whether you're a student, faculty, staff member, or family, there’s something for everyone. For Cal State LA Students, wear your Cal State LA gear and score free merch and food coupons! Food trucks like Paradise LA and Patty Meets Bun will be on site with tasty eats for sale, so come hungry and ready to have a blast!
