Public Forum: This time is allotted to members of the public to address the committee.
New Business
- Diversity and Inclusion Task Force: The committee will receive information about the diversity and inclusion task force from the Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
- Letter of Opposition for 4th Year Math Proposal: The committee will be informed about the 4th year math proposal and discuss a letter of opposition.
- Senator Hearing and Student Forum: The committee will learn about Senator Glazer's request to learn about Basic Needs resources on our campus and how we can invite students to share their experiences.

About Committee
This committee reviews, researches, and makes recommendations on legislation at the local and State level, through CSSA. Additionally, this body creates an annual advocacy agenda and recommends action to the BOD.
The Legislative Affairs and Advocacy Committee membership consists of the following:
- ASI Vice President of External Affairs (Chair)
- ASI President
- Civic Engagement Officer
- Diversity and Inclusion Officer
- Vice President for University Affairs
- Two ASI Board of Directors members
- Three students at-large from the student body
- ASI Executive Director or designee (non-voting)
