4 Provost finalists will be visiting campus on Monday, Dec. 8, Wednesday, Dec. 10, Thursday, Dec. 11 and Friday, Dec. 12!
The Provost is the chief academic officer of the University and has responsibility for the University's academic and budgetary affairs. They collaborate with the President in setting overall academic priorities for the University and allocates funds to carry these priorities forward.
As part of the visit, there will be a “Student Forum” for students to have an opportunity to meet the candidates. The student forums are scheduled from 1:20-1:50 pm in the U-SU Theatre. Following the “Student Forum” will be an “Open Forum” from 2:00-3:00 pm which will be open to all including the students.
We ask that you attend to express your vision for the academic future of Cal State L.A. and ask any questions you may have about Quarter to Semester Conversion, Academic and Student Affairs partnerships, student success fees, etc.
