Public Forum - This time is allotted for members of the public to make announcements and/ or address the Cabinet of College Representatives.

Informational Items

  • Spring Proposals - The Cabinet will be informed about the Deadline to submit Spring Proposals

Special Presentation (Time Certain 4:00 p.m.)

  • ASI VP for Academic Governance Jackie Acosta - will discuss the importance of having student representation and seats on departmental curriculum meetings and other committees.

Discussion Items:

  • Outreach & Promotion - The Cabinet will discuss potential outreach and promotion methods. Such as setting up a tabling date with the PR & Marketing Commissioner for a College Rep Tabling Takeover.
  • Video Production of College Representatives Promoting Advisement: The Cabinet of College Representatives will discuss any updates on the logistics and feasibility of collaborating on a video to promote advisement.
  • Breakfast with the Provost: The Cabinet will discuss possible talking points for the Breakfast with Provost Mahoney on November 15th.
  • D-Stress: The Cabinet will discuss the logistics for the upcoming D-Stress event.

About Committee

The purpose and function of the Cabinet of College Representatives is to support college representatives by opening lines of communication and collaboration within the unit. The membership of the committee includes:

  • All the College Representatives
  • ASI Chief of Staff
  • ASI President (non-voting)
  • ASI Executive Director or designee (non-voting)

With the support of the Chief of Staff, the Representatives work together to:

  • Strengthen the communication amongst all college representatives by sharing developments, programs, and concerns within each college.
  • Assess and identify students' needs and develop strategies to address their needs for the short-term and long-term basis.
  • Establish inter-collegiate programs or initiatives.
