II. Public Forum/Announcements

This time is allotted for the public to address the Board regarding items not included on the meeting agenda. Speaker cards are available for those wanting to speak on agenda items as listed below. Those comments will be heard as the item is introduced.

III. Informational Items

  1. Operation Gratitude and Veterans Day Celebration: The VPA will report back on the success of the event.
  2. Eagle-Chella: The Cabinet will receive an update for the event on April 23rd, 2020.
  3. Elections Commissioner Budget: VPA will give an update on the reallocation of the University Times line item.
  4. Voter Education Workshop: The Cabinet will be informed on the upcoming meeting with Assembly Member Marc Berman.
  5. Homecoming: Spirit commissioner will give an update on Spirit Week.

IV. Discussion Items

  1. Eagles-Take-Flight: The Cabinet will discuss how successful was the program and any improvements.
  2. Golden Eagle Spirit Committee: The Cabinet will review the code of procedure for the potential formation of the committee.

About Committee

The Community Engagement and Outreach Committee (CEO) coordinates, plans, and executes ASI’s events and activities for the student body. An important function of the committee is to allocate funds for ASI’s programs.

The CEO Committee membership includes:

  • ASI Vice President for Community Engagement (Chair)
  • Diversity and Inclusion Officer
  • Civic Engagement Officer
  • Engagement Commissioner
  • ASI President
  • Four (4) students at-large from the student body
  • Screaming Eagles Coordinator (non-voting)
  • ASI Program Coordinator (non-voting)
