III.Informational Items
a. Policies and Procedures - The subcommittee will hear a presentation from the ASI Chief Justice outlining the process by which policies and procedures will be separated in the new Administrative Manual.
IV.Discussion Items
a. Amendments to Policy 001 - The subcommittee will discuss an amendment to the Associated Students, Inc. Bylaws which would increase the organizational autonomy of the Judicial Review Committee.
b. Resolution and Amendment Procedure - The subcommittee will discuss the potential enactment of a formal procedure for the approval of resolutions and amendments.
c. Know Your Rights - The subcommittee will discuss the creation of a potential Know Your Rights event in collaboration with the Cabinet of Commissioners.
d. Grievance Reform - The subcommittee will discuss potential reforms to the ASI Grievance process.
e. Review of Policy 004 - The subcommittee will discuss the amendments to Policy 004 enacted by the Board of Directors and identify further areas for the improvement of the Policy.
f. Robert's Rules Training - The subcommittee will discuss its own Robert's Rules Training, as well as the one required for candidates for ASI offices.
g. Group Forum - This time is allotted for members of the subcommittee to discuss topics not included on the agenda.

About Committee
The Bylaws and Codes of Procedure Committee of the Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) of California State University, Los Angeles. It shall be the purpose and function of the Bylaws and Codes of Procedure Committee to ensure that the governing documents, policies and procedures of ASI are in compliance with Title V of the Administrative Code of the State of California, Policy and Directives of the Board of Trustees of the California State University, Policies of the CSLA, the Articles of Incorporation, and the Bylaws.
What is the composition of the ASI Bylaws and Codes of Procedure Committee?
The Bylaws and Codes of Procedure Committee shall be composed of 7 voting and 3 non-voting members.
- The entire membership of the Judicial Review Committee as delineated in the ASI Bylaws (4 voting, 2 alternate)
- The ASI Elections & Orientation Commissioner
- A member of the BOD appointed by the ASI President with a simple majority consent of the BOD
- One student recommended by the Chief Justice to the ASI President with a simple majority consent of the BOD
- ASI Executive Director (non-voting)
- University President or designee (non-voting)
- ASI Senior Coordinator of Student Engagement & Outreach (non-voting)
