Jesus Mora

Currently in my 4th year at Cal State LA, my journey began back in the Fall of 2015. I am pursing my Bachelors degree in Mass Communication with an option in Public Relations & Advertising. I'm also working on my minor in Entertainment Marketing. My initial goal is to work in the music industry as a Manager or A&R Rep.

This is actually my 2nd year working at ASI. Last year, as the Arts & Letters Representative, I accomplished many goals such as hosting programs supporting different departments and their specified majors. Having a successful year as a College Representative is what motivated me to take on the position of Vice President for Administration in ASI.

As VPA, my main duties are to oversee the six commissioners, administer annual evaluations for pro-staff, plan activities for the administrative units and assist with the marketing and branding of the organization. One of my main goals this year is to be able to provide high profile events such as live concerts, art gallery installations, and comedy shows on campus. This will definitely enhance the college experience for our students, which is a very important aspect to achieving academic success.

Apart from ASI, I have been a brother of the Phi Sigma Kappa National Fraternity since Fall 2015. I'm also the standing President for the Inter-Fraternity Council here at Cal State LA, and an active member in the Public Relations Students Society of America.
