II. Public Comment: This time is allotted for the public to address the council regarding items not included on the meeting agenda. Speaker cards are available for those wanting to speak on agenda items as listed below. Those comments will be heard as the item is introduced.

IV. Information Items

a. Shared Governance Strategic Planning- The VPAG will introduce a strategic plan for the SGC unit to follow the trends of student representation.

V. Discussion Items

a. ASCSU Resolution: Towards Implementation of an Ethnic Studies System Requirement- The Council will discuss what a mandatory ethnic studies course will look like at Cal State LA.
b. VPAG Committee Report- The Council will review and discuss the content of the VPAG's committee report.
c. Social Media: Engagement- Gus Salazar, Graphics and Marketing Coordinator will discuss the expansion of student interaction via social media 'engagement'.
d. Open Deliberation - The Council will choose their form of participation in the Open Deliberation event.
